I am finally reading 1984. No. I have not read this book before.
It’s much more terrifying than I thought it would be. 1984 describes our current retarded dystopia almost perfectly. Not in the way the society is structured, but in the way the people in society are manipulated and lied to. In the way people in society willingly go along with the manipulation and lies. The way all of us pretend the unreal is real.
Many moons ago I read an opinion (can’t recall where or who wrote it) that 1984 was not a warning. It was an instruction manual. Now that I’m a bit over half way through the book I find myself agreeing with this assertion.

I’m at the 23:34 time stamp, and I have to comment. A.I. is “so important” because the Surveollence State, “running in the background” collects so much data, it failed for many years to ge effective, and this will change the entire game. Just as ridiculous, vindictive, and abitrary were the Jan. 6 arrests, so too will the Surveillence State use A.I. to discover its enemies (there will be millions). Additionally, it likely will determine which enemies are more dangerous, and likely choose the most influential ones to eliminate first.
Keep in mind, the Global American Empire (GAE) will not care where its enemies reside, it will attempt to seek and destroy.
