If true, this is very tragic. Common Filth was the first to identify the danger of the festering social contagions being incubated on Tumblr and how bad it was for the young people on it. His Tumblrista series was hugely influential to many relevant today.
Tumblr was a huge social media site in the early 2010s before it was bought by Yahoo. Yahoo, not realizing what it truly was and thinking it was just a hip new Twitter, killed it on accident. How? By banning pornography.
Tumblr was basically a hub for young teenagers to become mentally ill and get groomed by pedophiles (a mantle now taken up by Discord).
There was pro-ana communities (who promoted disordered eating in young girls), pro-sex work and anti-‘slut shaming’ communities (who promoted teens to exploit their bodies for attention on the Internet), pro-kink communities (which helped popularize physical abuse as a fetish, adult babies, and stealthing people with AIDS), pro-mental illness communities (‘disassociative identity disorder’ where they’d pretend to be multiple people in one body), and so much more.
Most importantly, Tumblr was where ‘gender identity’ went from drag performances to a mainstream political talking point in every country of the world.
Sex predators congealed on Tumblr, making it a cesspit designed for teens in their most fragile formative years. A social media site for teens became where they endlessly posted pornography of themselves for likes, and where older members of the LBGTQIAP+ would ask them to explore their ‘transfemme’ and ‘kinky’ sides. The rot they promulgated has incontrovertibly damaged our societies forever.
Common Filth identified it as it was happening, called it out for what it was, and showed it to the world despite the huge personal cost. He was a huge influence to me personally. He was a huge influence to many people who have platforms today. His videos stand the test of time. He was funny, smart, and deeply committed to his faith beyond all else, even when it was not popular with his own audience. The abyss does stare back.
These videos were my first exposure to Common Filth.

I’m reading Napoléon by Emil Ludwig.

Writing style for Napoleon
Ludwig describes the characters using accurate vocabulary and dramatic quotes and sentences. His ability to combine facts with popular stories and rumors in his novel “Napoleon” makes the entire book a detailed odyssey. The explicit descriptions and psychological interpretations in his books make it appear as if the characters were heroes. His unique writing style simplifies the intricate political activities of that time in an interesting and readable manner.
“Make it appear as if the character were heroes.” We all know the only real heroes are Jews.
Local theatre has a production of Antigone. I was going to attend but it just keeps getting worse.
