Talk is cheap.
It’s cheaper when we get paid to say it, but just because this is true, doesn’t mean that we should do nothing.
Who benefits from current events, the convenience of specific events, how they relate to wider situations, and affairs?
The economy of the United States has been in the latrine since the oughts. There’ve been some, getting involved with technology, and the Internet, but with the passing years, innovation disappears, as do profits. Properties are overvalued, healthcare costs are skyrocketing, and we have an overpopulation in need of healthcare. It seems clear to me, that this large group of people, with healthcare needs, would give anything to prevent any more pain in their life, including convincing the productive members of society, that it doesn’t matter, if they are racist, or white, or straight, that they have an important role, they need to clean the country up, and make it possible for those healthcare needs to be met.
An object put into motion, tends to stay in motion, even if that object is just an idea. So, if everyone is OK with allowing the majority of society, to prevent any more inconvenient fatalities, misunderstandings, injustices, then I say we go ahead, and do that. This may result in no changes at all, and at least we will have provided the older people comfort, for the next couple of decades. It may result in a failed economy, as we are on that path.
Either way, we won’t have to deal with this is annoying, needling, complaining from the weak of society. Were this all we do, we can go down intentionally, and wth a purpose. i’m not saying get involved in foreign wars, it would be nice, to have something going for us again. Say what you want about the Germans, they firmly believed in preventative maintenance, but who knows, nowadays, they probably don’t even know what that is.
