Why OWS can kiss my ass – the short version.

Cynical Libertarian Society Posted on 6 December, 2011 by The Great One, Himself6 December, 2011

In the future I’ll be discoursing at length about why Occupy Wall Street is composed mostly of idiots.  But I discovered that I can really sum it all up in one sound-bite.  And that’s a good thing since most of you have an attention span that only travels for 140 characters. You’ve heard this before. Private profit. Public risk. OWS isn’t happy about this.  Neither am I.  Do we have something in common here?  No we don’t.  Why? OWS is opposed to the private profit part.  I am opposed to the public risk part. This, in less that 140 characters, … Continue reading →

Maybe Obama also hasn’t noticed that he’s an idiot.

Cynical Libertarian Society Posted on 17 September, 2009 by The Great One, Himself3 August, 2019

The White House said Friday it was unaware of the rally. President Obama has traveled to Minneapolis, Minn., to promote his health-care plans at a rally there. How can Hussein Obama, the First and the Second, not be aware of a large mass of people outside his house who hate him?  Is he really that sheltered?  Or that stupid?  Is this the hope for the change for the change of the hope? Hussein Obama, the First and the Second, said “I intend to be president for a while and once this bill passes, I own it.” The First and the … Continue reading →

Cynical Libertarian Society Posted on 2 November, 2008 by The Great One, Himself2 November, 2008

Check out Zeitgeist. You’ll hear me talking about this movie in an upcoming STO. I have not watched Zeitgeist: Addendum. I hear it’s not as good as the first movie, so I can’t vouch for that one. My discrimination ain’t your discrimination.

Cynical Libertarian Society Posted on 17 August, 2008 by The Great One, Himself17 August, 2008

In the Journal of Business and Psychology, Vol. 21, No. 2, Winter 2006 is an article entitled Effects of Discriminatory Interview Questions and Gender on Applicant Reactions by Alan M. Saks and Julie M. McCarthy of the University of Toronto.   Toronto. Canada. There is the first indication that something is wrong here. Anyhow, they did some research on discriminatory questions during job interviews. That data isn’t what I’m interested in however. What I find so interesting is what constitutes “discriminatory” questions. Here is their list of interview questions which contains four discriminatory questions:   What is your date of … Continue reading →
