The Great One attempted a podcast today after kayaking. It was pretty bad. The podcast. Not the kayaking. In fact it was so bad that the only good part was some of the tangenting before he attempted to do the topics he had lined out.

Because it was so bad you’re gonna get the tangenting and none of the other stuff. TGO will have a go at talking about these topics next time around.

Maybe he will suck less.

Nothing south of the equator, no time spent on the Middle East, Asia, great African empires other than Egypt or any part of the Americas.

More a history of those cultures a 1950’s white male thought were civilized.

I knew there was a serious problem with this book set when I saw an image of an African/Egyptian Pharaoh mask on the cover of a book that states “Our Oriental Heritage”. We flipped through every single book and found nothing historically nor extensively relevant to any culture, landmass or people south of the equator, nor east of Spain. The books went back into the box and were promptly and happily shipped right back to where they came from. If I wanted to have a laugh, I would have listened to my George Carlin or Richard Pryor records, but this was a psychotically, unfunny joke.
